NY Giants WR Victor Cruz sheds the red non-contact jersey during Friday’s practice.
The Knicks City Dancers might not do any dancing Sunday, but Victor Cruz looks like he’ll be free to salsa if he finds the end zone.
The Giants receiver (neck) shed the red non-contact jersey he wore Thursday and was back in his usual No. 80 at Friday’s practice, meaning he’s been cleared for contact and likely will suit up Sunday against the Raiders.

Victor Cruz is looking to add to his four touchdowns this season when the Raiders come to town.
The statuses of RB Brandon Jacobs (hamstring/knee) and CB Corey Webster (groin) are much murkier, though. They both aren’t practicing Friday. For Jacobs, there seems to be a setback. He was a limited practice participant Wednesday and Thursday. He had been dealing with a hamstring injury for a few weeks but on Thursday’s injury report, a knee injury was added to the existing hamstring problem.
CB Trumaine McBride, who has distinguished himself as the starter opposite Prince Amukamara, returned to practice Friday after sitting out Thursday with a groin issue.
CBs Terrell Thomas (knee) and Jayron Hosley (hamstring,) and TE Adrien Robinson (foot) were all working during the portion of practice open to the media. Robinson practiced fully Wednesday and Thursday and appears to be in good shape to make his season debut Sunday.
