Ecks and Bacon: Win or draw, Hull City is worth a wager

LAS VEGAS – Not really interested in the Army – Navy game (it’s Navy or nothing, but don’t wanna lay a dozen) so we’ll jump across the pond again, where we have won a few bucks this week, and try Hull City over Stoke City in the Premier League matchup.

The Tigers from Kingston upon Hull have been exceptional at home (if you’re interested, Hull is located in Yorkshire…and if you’re still interested, Hull is unique in the UK with a municipally-owned telephone system from 1902, sporting CREAM, not red, telephone boxes). Hull has only lost once at home this season, and only Manchester City (two) have conceded fewer league goals at home this season than Hull (three). But Stoke is playing well, and could give the Tigers trouble, so we’ll back Hull to win for a full Benjamin, and also drop a full Benj on the draw.

Didn’t open the wallet yesterday, didn’t have to press any buttons, and the calculator says that +$ 1825 is still the current figure.
