The picture shows Berg Eriksen in a red bra and black panties. Though she captions the picture as feeling “so empty and not even four days after birth” her body shows no signs she just went through the procedure – including a washboard stomach and toned legs and arms.
Online writer Suzanne Aabel posted on her blog that she questioned if she and Berg Eriksen were of the same species.

“As a 32 year old with a 4 year old son even and according to BMI-halva “10 kg (22 pounds) overweight” I think: WHO ARE YOU TO POST THIS IMAGE? What do you want to say with this picture? Who are you talking to? What is the good purpose here? Why is this positive?,” she wrote in her post “I feel fat because soccer lady has given birth.”
Aabel said she works with teenage girls and is afraid of what message they will take from this picture.

For her part Aabel showed a picture of her naked body when she was pregnant and her belly was much larger than Berg Eriksen. Aabel admits that she was the chubby girl who despised her own body when she was 12.
But Berg Eriksen obviously has a different body type than most other women. Another picture on her Instagram shows Berg Eriksen with a relatively small bump on her belly when she said she was more than 38 weeks pregnant.
Berg Eriksen, who is married to Premier League player Lars-Kristian Eriksen, responded to the criticism on her Facebook page, according to The Daily Mail.

She also received support on the comment section of her Instagram picture.

“If you don’t like the way you look do something about it and stop hating on others cause they make you feel bad about yourself. Give me a break. You’re all pathetic!!!” said one poster.
Gro Nylander, head of the women’s clinic at the Norwegian National Hospital, told the Aftenposten newspaper that people should not bully “the Soccer Lady.”
She said it is normal for some women get a completely flat stomach and return to its normal shape soon after birth.
“Life is unfair,” she said. “It is healthy and good that she is in good shape. But the main thing is to show generosity for their bodies.”
The doctor said that more pregnant women are putting on too much weight during pregnancy, which can lead to difficulties during pregnancy, birth and when breastfeeding. Reducing the weight gain makes it easier for the woman to endure the birth and period afterwards, she said.
