After spending more than two years in prison, a man from Brooklyn who was never charged with any wrongdoing managed to escape from custody in Bolivia, according to reports on Monday.
Officials in the Latin American country jailed Jacob Ostreicher, 54, in a money-laundering scheme while the family man was there overseeing a multimillion-dollar rice-growing investment.
