Dramatic footage shows the moment a Chinese toddler was rescued by firefighters after she became stuck in a protective window grate four stories up.
The 3-year-old’s head was trapped between two iron bars and her tiny body dangled in the air after she fell through an anti-theft grate at an apartment building in Yunnan Province, in southeast China, on Monday, Chinese media reported.

The child shrieked in fear as fire crews worked to free her using a hydraulic spreader. One rescuer held her at the waist to prevent her from falling through the pried-apart bars.

She was pulled free after several minutes, and didn’t appear to suffer any serious injuries.
