The Church of Scientology and their leader David Miscavige held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to dedicate their massive Flag Building in downtown Clearwater on Sunday.
The Flag Building, a multi-million dollar project that has reportedly taken nearly 15 years to complete since its initial groundbreaking, is said to be where Scientology’s “Super Power” program will be presented for the first time.
Developed in the 1970s, the program is designed to “create a new world,” the newspaper reported.

A live image of Church of Scientology leader David Miscavige is projected on a screen for a crowd, which overflowed onto streets surrounding the new Flag Building.
‘Super Power is a series of spiritual counseling processes designed to give a person back his own viewpoint, increase his perception, exercise his power of choice, and greatly enhance other spiritual abilities,’ church spokesman Ben Shaw said in a statement, obtained by the Daily Mail.
While helicopters were able to see the masses gathered from above — and zoom in on Cruise and Travolta, 59, in the front row — the ceremony was reportedly for Scientologists only.

Police were told to expect 10,000 people, but far less were in attendance, the paper reported.
“They are not interested in letting the public know what’s inside their building,” a bystander told the Times.
City officials were told to expect 10,000 people, though the numbers appeared less, according to the newspaper. Clearwater is apparently known to have a large population of Scientologists.

The city of Clearwater reportedly has a large Scientology population, according to the Tampa Bay times.
The multi-story building is said to have three hundred rooms for “auditing,” the religion’s counseling program, in addition to a “grand lobby” for visitors, a basement with dining options, and an entire fifth floor dedicated to the “Super Powers” program — per the newspaper.
The sixth floor also reportedly has a track — in which churchgoers run until they have achieved what the religion’s founder L. Ron Hubbard called “cognition,” or a moment of enlightenment
