Todd Christensen earns first-team All-Pro honors twice during his NFL career with Raiders.
Pro Bowl tight end Todd Christensen died Wednesday morning due to complications from surgery, his alma mater BYU reported via Twitter.
Christensen, who was drafted in the second round of the 1978 draft out of BYU, had a ten-year NFL career with the Raiders. He was 57.

The two-time Super Bowl champion had battled liver disease and other serious illnesses in recent years, the Salt Lake City Tribune reported.
After a four-year career as a running back at BYU, Christensen was converted to a tight end at the pro level. He was a five-time Pro Bowler and twice earned first-team All-Pro honors.
Christensen worked as an NFL analyst for NBC after his playing days.
