The video to Pacman and Peso’s ‘Escape to North Korea’ finds the duo in front of a number of North Korean landmarks.
Two brave American rappers have managed to film a music video in secretive North Korea.
Peso and Pacman recorded “Escape to North Korea,” rapping at various landmarks across the Korean capital, Pyongyang, including the Arch of Triumph.
The pair — whose real names are Anthony Bobb and Dontray Ennis, respectively — grew up in Washington, D.C. and, according to the Independent, had never left the U.S. before recording the video in one of the world’s most secretive states.

Financing for Pacman and Peso’s ‘Escape to North Korea’ came from a Kickstarter campaign.
They raised money for their video — more than $ 10,000 — through the fundraising website Kickstarter.
Their trip was organized through a travel agency specializing in trips to North Korea and their fundraising proposal suggested they would be part of a karaoke party in Pyongyang.
They were in North Korea for five days.

Citizens of North Korea my not get a chance to see the video, as the secretive nation carefully regulates the Internet.
The video, which also shows them on the North Korean capital’s metro, has gone viral on the Internet.
However not many are likely to see it in North Korea, as Internet is strictly regulated.
The pair said ordinary North Koreans appeared to be “happy” and people should not automatically believe what they read about the country, but see it for themselves.
