The members of boy band One Direction posted a new video to YouTube with a special message to the teen girl critically wounded in a Colorado school shooting.
The world-famous band said they learned 16-year-old Claire Davis — who was shot in the head during Arapahoe High School shooting — was a fan and wanted to wish her a full recovery.

“Hi, Claire. We hear you’re a big fan and we just wanted to show you some love,” singer Liam Payne said in the 13-second clip.

“What’s happened to you is absolutely terrible and we can’t bear thinking about it. So we just wanted to share some love with you. All our prayers with you and your family. Hope you get well soon.”

Davis, a senior at the school and a One Direction fan, has been in a coma since the teen gunman shot her in the head at point-blank range with a shotgun, her family said.
The shooter then turned the gun on himself.

Since the tragedy, Davis’ friends have been sending #Get1DtoClaire messages on Twitter to get the popular boy band to visit the teen.
