The song’s original collaboration was with R. Kelly but the updated track replaces his vocals with Aguilera’s, which the ladies performed on stage during NBC’s “The Voice” finale on Dec. 17.

“This is the first time we’ve ever met and I have to say, when I heard she wanted to collaborate I said, ‘Of course! Lady Gaga!’ I’ve been waiting to meet her,” Aguilera says.
There’s no confirmation as to why Gaga decided to bring in the “Feel This Moment” singer. However, it could very well be due to the recent Village Voice interview with former Chicago Sun-Times reporter Jim DeRogatis, who previously wrote about the allegations about Kelly having sex with underage girls.
On the heels of Kelly’s comeback with his latest album “Black Panties” the Voice’s story served as a reminder of his tainted past, which included a child pornography charge.

Still, Kelly isn’t out of the Gaga song completely as the original song’s music video is set to be released in early 2014.
But to ring in the New Year, Gaga will officially debut the single with Aguilera’s vocals.
