Davis, who died in 1991, lived at 312 W. 77th St., between Riverside Dr. and West End Ave., for a quarter century, and was known to hold jam sessions on his stoop, much to the chagrin of his silence-loving neighbors.
Davis’ nephew, Los Angeles-based drummer Vincent Wilburn Jr., was on hand Wednesday to watch outgoing Mayor Bloomberg sign the bill.
