“Operation North Pole,” a nine-month sting operation with local, state and federal agents, took down huge and violent narcotics network that moved millions of dollars in heroin and cocaine in Camden, N.J., was announced by state Attorney General John J. Hoffman.
Authorities have arrested 34 people and seized drugs, money and a “party bus,” in a massive take-down of a violent, New Jersey narcotics network with links to Mexico’s infamous drug cartels.
Thirteen dealers are still on the lam, state Attorney General John Hoffman announced. He described an intricate and highly organized syndicate that sold hundreds of thousands of dollars in cocaine and heroin each month in Camden, N.J.

“Operation North Pole,” a nine-month joint investigation between state, local and federal agents, executed a series of dawn raids Thursday, arresting dealers and seizing $ 218,000 in cash, ounces of cocaine, and a “party bus” used by dealers to transport their illegal inventories and to entertain buyers.
“This was a massive, violent operation with ties to Mexican drug cartels, selling millions of dollars in drugs per year,” Hoffman said.

Two alleged leaders of the drug ring, brothers Omar Urbina, 39, of Philadelphia, and 33-year-old Edwin Urbina of Pennsauken, were charged with racketeering and heading a narcotics trafficking network.
A third brother and alleged ringleader, 34-year-old Edward Urbina, of Camden, is on the run, authorities said.
Others arrested included suppliers, street-dealers, lookouts and baggers, the attorney general’s office said.
