Tanay Jackson says she’s concerned about her cousin Paris, who is deeply troubled by Conrad Murray’s showbiz dreams.

The family of dead King of Pop Michael Jackson can’t believe that his killer, Conrad Murray, has been released from jail after serving just half of a four-year sentence for involuntary manslaughter.

Jacko’s kids Prince, Paris and Blanket are disgusted and feel the disgraced cardiologist should leave the country, rather than attempt to build a singing career and return to medicine, according to Michael Jackson’s niece, Tanay Jackson, 29.

Tanay Jackson, daughter of Tito, speaking for the first time since Murray was released in late October, says Paris is cutting herself and she is worried about her niece’s mental health.

The singer says the family can never forgive Murray, 60, for providing her uncle Michael with the powerful anesthetic propofol as a sleep aid.

“I think a murderer should get a longer sentence than that, I don’t think it’s fair,” Tanay told Confidenti@l.

“We really feel like there were more people involved in my uncle’s death. But Conrad Murray is the physical culprit because he physically injected him,” she said.

“No, we haven’t forgiven him. We can’t forgive him at all. I categorized that person as a murderer. I categorized him as somebody who got away with murder. People in those categories I just can’t forgive.”

Murray’s medical license is suspended pending an appeal. “That’s a big joke to us that he wants to reapply for his medical license,” she said.

“He should not be able to practice medicine. He was a physical culprit for the death of Michael.”

Tanay said Murray’s efforts to land a show business career have affected troubled Paris.

Paris slashed her wrists and popped pills in a suicide attempt on June 5. “Paris is going through a lot of emotional torment. She is under a tremendous amount of pressure and is suffering severe depression. She is trying to find a way to escape and it doesn’t seem like anyone knows what to do,” Tanay Jackson said.

“This is a 15-year-old going through a 40-year-old’s problems. There are a host of problems that Paris can’t handle alone. It’s driven her to the point where she wants to escape the emotional pain and the only way she can do that is by cutting herself.

“It’s become addictive and I understand this isn’t the first time she’s done it.”

Tanay plans to start her own music career to emulate Uncle Michael. She is recording an album, which she hopes to have out before Christmas.

“I would rather just build my own name. A lot of people think I have this talent because it’s natural to me and it comes from my dad’s side of the family. I don’t want to pull from anything that my dad has done in the past or my uncles and my aunts. I want to establish my own name.

“When people know I’m Tito’s daughter they think my music should sound like his. It’s very difficult for me to go on my own individual path from what my dad and Michael did. I’m supposed to come out with a Jackson-style song.

“But I have a little naughty side and I’d like to express myself through that in a funky way.”

Tanay is gearing up for a European tour to promote her new single “Addicted (Rollin’ Poppin’)”.

“It was inspired by clubbing and dancing, in particular European dance music,” Tanay said of the catchy track. “Dance music is pop music right now. I come from a R&B background. You know, pop is what I listen to. I’m always listening to pop and I think this song ‘Addicted’ is the way to go. It’s very current.”

Tanay is getting ready to do a show in Romania. Last week shameless Murray claimed that Jacko would be appalled at the bad press the doctor is getting – a remark that has outraged Tanay.

“My uncle would be appalled by all the bad press that Conrad is getting? WHAT!” she exclaimed.

“I’ve never heard such buffoonery in my life. I think he is trying to cover himself. No matter what he says and no matter what anyone else says, the point still remains the same.

“He was the physical culprit of my uncle’s death. He had that needle in his hand and he injected Michael.

“Whether he meant to overdose him or not, he still injected him. He’s the doctor, he should’ve known better. It didn’t matter what Michael told him, he shouldn’t have done it.”
