Actor Alec Baldwin left 1 Hogan Place in Manhattan after testifying against his alleged stalker Genevieve Sabourin on Tuesday. He was at his Greenwich Village home Thursday when the verdict was annouced.

The obsessed French-Canadian actress who made Alec Baldwin’s life a living hell was found guilty Thursday of stalking and other charges.

Genevieve Sabourin, who turned her trial into a circus when she heckled Baldwin and his wife Hilaria on the stand, stayed silent and looked glum as the judge declared her guilty on all counts — and gave her a piece of his mind.

“You had no right to continue communications or pursue contact you knew to be unwanted and unwelcome,” Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Robert Mandelbaum said. “Your relentless and escalating campaign of threats and in person appearances in private spaces served at a minimum to harass annoy and alarm Mr. Baldwin.”

Mandelbaum added that Sabourin’s “conduct throughout this trial demonstrated an utter lack of respect of the law and the legal system.”

“The rules of civil society apply to you as well as everyone else,” Mandelbaum said.

The verdict closes an especially embarrassing chapter in the hot-headed actor’s life who had insisted repeatedly that he and Sabourin were never romantically involved.

For Sabourin it means roughly seven more months behind bars. And judging by her appearance after her first night on Rikers Island, jail doesn’t agree with her. Sabourin looked like she hadn’t gotten much sleep when she showed up in court to take her medicine.

The high-strung siren was convicted of attempted aggravated harassment, stalking, attempted criminal contempt and harassment. Prosecutors said a “delusional” Sabourin wages a two-year-long harassment campaign against the “30 Rock” star.

“It was a nightmare even an order of protection could not stop because this defendant was relentless, intentionally trying to destroy Alec Baldwin’s peace of mind and his relationship with Hilaria,” Assistant District Attorney Zachary Stendig said before the judge rendered his verdict. “She knew the nightmare she was causing and that was exactly what she wanted.”

Defense attorney Todd Spodek insisted Sabourin was a lover scorned who was simply seeking closure from a cad.

“He set her up at a luxurious New York hotel,” Spodek said. “He took her on a once in a lifetime fairy tale date.”

Baldwin led Sabourin on, Spodek said. “One minute Mr. Baldwin is head over heels for Ms. Sabourin and the next he’s not interested at all,” Spodek said. “Ms. Sabourin had a legitimate purpose in determining the status of their relationship.”
