Chris Brown was allegedly involved in an altercation outside the Washington hotel while still serving probation for abusing Rihanna.
Chris Brown was sprung from jail late Monday after authorities in the nation’s capital reduced his charge from felony to misdemeanor assault and ordered him to stay away from the alleged victim.
The volatile vocalist wore a white shirt buttoned to the top, bleached blond hair and a solemn expression as he stood in front of the judge in handcuffs.
He was ordered to return Nov. 25.

Brown, 24, is on felony probation for his vicious beating of Rihanna in 2009 and could face serious jail time for that crime if prosecutors eventually decide his actions violated the conditions of his plea deal.
“It could be a violation if he’s charged. He doesn’t have to be convicted,” a Los Angeles law enforcement source told the Daily News.
The source said California prosecutors are monitoring the new case. Before he pleaded guilty to Rihanna’s felony assault under a plea deal that gave him five years of probation, Brown was facing up to four years and eight months in prison if convicted.
Another man, Christopher Hollosy, 35, also was given the same reduced charge as Brown and released Monday.

Hollosy was acting as one of Brown’s bodyguards when the two were arrested, a source told The News.
The alleged victim, identified in court by the name Parker Adams, told cops that the sidewalk smackdown began after he tried to get into a photo Brown was taking with two other people.
A police narrative quotes the man as saying Brown told him, “I’m not down with that gay s—” and “I feel like boxing.”
The man, also identified by authorities as 20-year-old Isaac Parker of Beltsville, Md., claimed Brown punched him hard in the face, leaving him swollen and bruised.

Police noted Parker’s non-life threatening injury and said he was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for a fractured nasal bone and released.
A witness told The News that Brown went “out of control” when the victim nudged his way into the fan photo with the two female fans. He said he only saw part of the incident and did not hear Brown use a homophobic slur.
“He just went nuts,” the witness said of Brown. “These guys just jumped in a photo. It was a joke.”

But the source close to Brown said the accuser is revising the facts of the fisticuffs.

The source said the accuser was trying to get onto Brown’s tour bus when Hollosy stopped him and an altercation broke out.
“The report of the slur is total bulls–t. There was no slur, and this whole picture thing is pure nonsense,” the source told The News. “These guys were trying to trespass on the bus.”
The violence erupted about two hours after Brown performed at The Park at Fourteen nightclub, just four blocks from where the beating occurred.
The gig was part of homecoming festivities for Howard University.
Brown is set to appear in Los Angeles court Nov. 20 for a probation hearing for the Rihanna assault.
The new incident isn’t the first time Brown has been accused of violence after he beat Rihanna bloody and left her alone on a dark street the night before the Grammy Awards in February 2009.
Last January, he clashed with openly gay singer Frank Ocean over a recording studio parking space, and Ocean later complained of an injury on Twitter. Brown also was implicated in the bottle-throwing Manhattan nightclub brawl with rapper Drake last year.
