A worker at a Manhattan art museum claims in a lawsuit that her boss fawned over her as if she were a priceless work of art.

Cindy Sherling says that Jan Van Alphen, a director at the Rubin Museum of Art, relentlessly praised her “beautiful legs” and told her “I can’t stop thinking about your hair,” according to her sexual harassment suit filed in Queens court.

Van Alphen took things further, kissing Sherling on the cheek, patting her backside, hugging her and stroking her hair, the suit says.

Sherling was fired in April after complaining.

“It just made me feel very uncomfortable all the time,” said Sherling, 52, of Queens, who is represented by Michael Borrelli and Alexander Coleman.

Reps for the museum, which specializes in Himalayan art, did not return a request for comment.
