Nigella Lawson to divorce husband seen choking her

Celebrity chef Nigella Lawson and her art collector husband, who was photographed choking her last month, will make their split final Wednesday with a quickie divorce in London, a report said.

A photographer caught Charles Saatchi on June 9 grasping Lawson by her throat.

Saatchi, 70, claimed the pictures were misinterpreted and announced earlier this month he would divorce Lawson, 53, because she didn’t defend him.

But his wife has filed the papers, the Daily Mail reported, and the couple, said to be worth $ 228 million, will part ways Wednesday.
