Hugh Jackman is getting his act together and taking it on the road — to Los Angeles and for one night only.

“The Wolverine” star and “The Boy From Oz” Tony winner will revisit his sold-out hit “Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway” on Oct. 12 at the Dolby Theatre in L.A..

The evening — called “Hugh Jackman … One Night Only” — will benefit the wellness- and community-oriented Motion Picture & Television Fund.

Jackman’s Broadway show lasted for 10 weeks in the fall of 2011, becoming one of the biggest box office successes in Broadway history.

“It is an honor to bring our show to Los Angeles,” Jackman said in a statement. “We have a very special evening planned for you that will raise money and awareness for MPTF, a cause very close to my heart.”

In the fall of 2011, Jackman had theatergoers’ hearts beating thanks to (as noted in my review) “his irresistible Australian grin, touchy-feely affability and snug pants.”

The show featured an 18-piece onstage orchestra, a half-dozen showgirls and a screen that descends for photos and videos as Jackman relived many of his stage endeavors.

That included “Oh, What a Beautiful Morning” from “Oklahoma!” and “Soliloquy” from “Carousel,” plus Peter Allen tunes from “The Boy From Oz.”

Although Jackman talked about playing Jean Valjean in “Les Miserables” in his Broadway show, he didn’t sing a song from it.

Jackman promises surprises in L.A. Maybe the rousing “Bring Him Home” from “Les Mis” will be one of them.
