Pink says she’s the happiest she’s ever been, as a mom to daughter Willow, and wife to husband Carey Hart.
Pink says she has never been happier, now that she has 2-year-old daughter Willow, but the singer recalls going back and forth about whether or not motherhood was going to be in her future with husband Carey Hart .
“I didn’t want kids,” the singer, 33, said in an interview with GQ Australia. “I was terrified.”
“I had moments where I wanted a kid with Carey. You know — you first fall in love, and you’re like, ‘We should have kids,’ and then it went away. But he always wanted kids and then we did it, and now it’s like, ‘F—,’ this is so rad. It’s more important than anything we’ve done.”

“I can use the word “happy” and not flinch,” she added. “I’m happier than I’ve ever been, but I’m also still living my life.”
Born Alecia Moore, the singer says a lot of her fears about motherhood came from her rocky relationship with her own parents. Often the topic of her music, Pink has written songs and spoken about butting heads with her own mother in the past.

The singer gushed about becoming a mom to daughter Willow, which she considers ‘the most important thing’ that’s ever happened to her and husband Carey Hart.
“My mother was so happy I had a girl, because she said then I would understand what she went through with me,” she said. “I’ll have to wait until [Willow’s] a teenager.”

While her daughter’s still a tot, Pink says she likes to start the day cuddling the “cheeky and funny” little girl.
“She’s the coolest thing that has ever happened to me,” she gushed. “Now I have someone to sing goofy-a– songs to all day and she likes it.”
“She’s not judging me. She’s probably the only person who doesn’t judge me.”
